Omg the best everyday bag!!!!!
So cool!!!! This is so helpful, especially when you regularly bring food to relatives or other people <3333
I adore❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this great project!! Your instructions are fantastic!!
Can’t see your measurements on where to place handles, what is the measurements
It says to mark 4” from the top and 4”from the bottom.
You can see how uneven the pleats are in this video. Using a comb make of a slippery material with a rounded back is NOT the best way to make pleats. It's easier to cut a piece of thin cardboard to the needed size and use that because it's flat and not slippery so the fabric will stay put. And when making knife or box pleats, use the tines of a fork to keep them the same size.
How about some ideas for the cut-off legs?
I have some. A potholder or a coaster. Or you can sew the cut part, box the corners and voila - a fabric basket for various bits and ends or for your plants
Would a casserole dish fit in this carrier? Thank you so much for the video - can't wait to make one - I might even add insulbrite to it.
Yes, it fits! I just tried my pyrex 9 x 13". But in that case I would leave a larger gap in the middle as a casserole dish is longer than a pie dish and it would be easier to fit it in the carrier.
@@HelloSewing Thank you for fast reply, I really appreciate that.
This is easier than other carriers on YT . Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much! You can even skip the binding if you want to make this project even easier.
That would be so handy …thank you for sharing❤❤❤❤
Indeed it is. Thank you for commenting
very nice and simple....i loved it
Thank you
See the clipped video just before the thread actually goes in the eye of the needle? How long did it actually take to thread that needle?
Very cool! I gotta try that !
I usually always hate tutorials with music, but not this one. Not only is this the video that showed me how to make a dog collar, I actually watched it so much that I learned the words to the song. My singing still sucks but I can make an awesome collar for my dogs. Thank you
It’s a catchy song isn’t it.
Wow, who wudda thunk!
all good gut what stitch did you use ?
Just a straight stitch for the hem and zig zag or overlock stitch to hem the raw edge
Thank you! Was using The "Jean -a- ma- ". (sp?). It helps. But a button!! Wow! Husband needs jeans hemmed, going to try trimming the seam and using a button. Have broken too many needles mending jeans. Thank you!!!
kislux I love you so much and watching your videos makes my day brighter
I never know 😮, thank you 😊
We live and learn. There is always something new one can learn, even after years of sewing
You are Good Very Nice excellent job I like you so much I make myself My window Thanks so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🙏🏻👍🏻🤩😍🥰✂️🧵🧶🪡😉
Ooh I actually like this better than using the original hem method! Thanks!
Aww lovely. I'm so glad to hear you liked my tutorial
I think, I will make some and fill with ground walnut shells and they can be pin cushion too....❤
Sew clever!
Thank you
I’m a new sewer and would love to make these! I found towels that were 20 in wide instead of 19. What would I cut my fabric to be ?
This is just so cute - I've already made five and will make a few more for gifts! Thank you so much for a great little project!!!
Good tip!❤
Glad it was helpful!
I love your tips. If I had started learning to sew before my mom passed, I’m sure she would’ve taught me little tricks like this. Instead, I’m figuring it all out on my own with help from UA-cam.
Thank you! This is really helpful for me! ❤
Thank you so much!
Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing.
Glad it was helpful! 🐱
Love it I will definitely have to make one there too cute. Thankyou for sharing ❤
You’re welcome 😊 it's a really useful tote
Great idea and nice job!
Fun bag! Thank you for sharing this ❤
Great tutorial. Thank you.
This is a really good idea! I have some old jeans from my husband that this will be perfect for
It's a really useful bag. I'm going to snatch a pair from my husband, too 😂
❤
Mine weren't even close....but a good idea none the less. Measure your own and just remember those numbers.
That is what my father used to do. He knew his hands measurements and could always quickly measure whatever he needed. Pinky to thumb was his favorite
Absolutely wonderful tutorial! Very easy to follow and it came out great. Thank you!
So glad it was helpful. Thank you for commenting
Hi. Thank Machine foot that you’re using I didn’t realize for a long time, but if that’s the one with the spring on the side, it’s actually made to go over those seams. As soon as your foot starts to tilt. Level it with your finger and press the spring button to lock it level. It will release as soon as you get over the thick seam.
That is a great tip. Thank you for sharing it with us. Yeah I do know about this little trick but the thing is that some people don't have that and then using a button helps
Thanks I have 3 pairs of pants I want to cut off and make shorts, two have some stretch, do you have suggestions on how to hem without getting the flair out at the bottom on stretch material? I've tried lengthening the stitch and using stretch stitches but it still doesn't look good.
You need some kind of stabilizer. I would try a water soluble stabilizer -the kind that is used for embroidery. Or you can use a walking foot
Super simple instructions. Than you
You're welcome! Thanks for commenting
Queda muy bonito, gracias por enceñar❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😮😮😅😊
Gracias 😁
Thank you very much! Very useful video
Glad to hear that! 🐱 You are so welcome
Geesh the music !
Turn it off :)
Do your own hand measurement because those numbers are not accurate for everyone. For instance my pinky out to thumb is 10 inches...
Approximately...
These are not exact measurements by any means, just a quick way to get the approximate measurement of something
The idea was that you can USE your hand to get approximate measurements- in general 😊
@@HelloSewing great idea babes
Thank you for sharing this with us! Blessings!!!
I'm so glad you find it helpful
Does tutorial really helped me make some custom plushies that I was pushing off cuz I didn't know how to make their head
